A new training platform specially written to allow companies to focus on sales growth has been devised by commercial lawyers with in-house experience.
Haddleton Academy, by law firm Haddleton Legal, has gone live with its first course on GDPR and has plans to roll out similar online legal and compliance training packages in effective contracting, anti-bribery and corruption, health and safety and other areas.
James Haddleton said the courses have been written in accessible language for use at all levels of an organisation.
“People think GDPR means you cannot do marketing. This is wrong. Our first course on GDPR is designed to help business owners and employees understand what can and cannot be done and how to mitigate data risks to improve decision making in the sales process,” said James.
He explained that training organisations on compliance matters was a way to increase staff and customer confidence, remove obstacles and shorten the sales cycle.
“The Academy will transform the way organisations train their staff, provide a fully flexible way of learning and make it easier and more affordable for them to keep pace with regulatory changes and build them into their sales processes
“Our team is almost entirely comprised of lawyers who have worked in-house within their specialist fields and this gives them the commercial perspective to be able to communicate a legal topic in a way that employers and their teams can relate to,” he added.
